We are dedicated to bringing music back into the family setting and we hope the Academy of Music is just what you've been looking for! The majority of our faculty have a masters degree in music, several are music teachers with the school district and we also have professional musicians who have performed across the country and around the world.

You and your child are why we are here. With the almost yearly threat of music and the arts being cut from our school district's curriculum, we feel it is extremely important that music remain an integral part of a child's overall education. Research has proven that children who study music do significantly better in math and science than those who are not exposed to a musical education.

At the Academy of Music, we focus solely on music education. We offer a family-type atmosphere with one-on-one private music lessons on practically all instruments and voice.

Our curriculum includes technique, theory, ear training, sight reading, and improvisational skills. We have an extremely talented and friendly staff of well-educated teachers who are professional musicians. We believe a strong bond between student and teacher is imperative to the learning process. Our instructors are absolutely the best!
